Yet another superb performance from Kevin Iles, who followed up an innings of 110 with 4-30 with the ball, guided Goatacre to a 25-run win over Hatherley & Reddings in Stroud & Swindon Glos/Wilts Division One.
Hosts Goatacre batted first and were 8-2 as the attack of Mayers and ex-Somerset paceman Andre Van Troost found movement.
Gee was bowled and in-form Jif Wilkins caught behind before Rob Turner and brother Peter took the score to 28 before the latter was caught.
When Rob Turner fell leg before to Mayers Goatacre were 45-4 and in trouble. But Iles joined Matt Wilkins.
Iles took four fours and a six off van Troost's second spell and Wilkins drove consecutive boundaries.
The partnership had reached 62 when Wilkins was caught for 10.
Ed Wilkins joined Iles for a partnership of 94. Iles reached his century before Wilkins was caught for 29, but at 201-6 with eight overs to go, a big score looked possible.
But Iles was caught next ball and Parrish went two balls later the momentum was lost as Mayers (5-40) and off spinner Evans (3-49) cleaned up to leave Goatacre 217 all out.
In reply, Hatherley were 31 without loss before Heer came on and bowled Gear in his second over.
Good bowling by Turner and Heer kept the rate down and pressure began to build.
Opener Nally drove Heer straight to Jif Wilkins and when Mayers was leg before to the same bowler and Field was caught by Parrish without score, Hatherley were 92-4.
Wickets fell at regular intervals as Peter Turner and Kevin Iles bowled well under pressure.
At 173-9 Goatacre were almost there, and with 26 needed from two overs Van Troost smashed the ball at Adam Iles at long off to seal Goatacre's win
Goatacre 2nd travelled to Gloucester and lost by five wickets, while the third string thanks to 74 from Andy Donegan and 75 from Jamie Butler beat Calne 2nd by 120 runs (Sean Preen 5-15).
