A RINGWOOD firm has won an award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
Dean & Dyball Construction Ltd won a gold safety award for their efforts in the past 12 months.
John Howard, RoSPA director of safety policy, said: "The awards are not just about short term reductions in the number of injuries and cases of ill health at work, they are about ensuring that organisations have robust health and safety management systems in place for the longer term.
"The awards reinforce the message that good health and safety reflects good business management and clearly demonstrates to staff and other stakeholders an organisation's success in this crucial but often invisible area."
It is the fourth year in succession that Dean & Dyball Construction Ltd have won the gold award.
Dean & Dyball Construction's Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager Olav Lawrence said: "The RoSPA Gold Award is extremely important to us as a company."
"We set ourselves very high health, safety and environmental standards, and all of our staff work hard in order to meet them.
"It is very pleasing to receive recognition of our efforts by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents."
