JEWELLERS Allum & Sidaway of Salisbury and Ringwood have been nominated for a national award.
The company, which also has branches in Shaftesbury and Dorchester, is in the running for the Store Team of the Year award, the winner of which will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London next Wednesday.
The event celebrates the best within the jewellery industry from manufacturers and designers to retail.
The criteria for the store team award included "enviable team spirit offering the very best personal customer service" and "the development of individuals and the team through training, giving the team a mix of skills". One of the judges has visited the company and interviewed the staff.
Allum & Sidaway won the store team award in 2001.
Managing director Jason Allum said: "I am very proud of all the staff and, as a thank you, all eighteen will be attending the ceremony in London."
