THE area's latest tourist attraction a butterfly farm - is expected to open its doors to visitors next week. The farm at Studley Grange Butterfly Farm, at Lydiard Tregoze, had expected to open in June, but continuing problems over its zoo operating licence caused delays.
Now the owners are confident that they will be ready on July 17, with 1,000 different butterflies.
The site of the farm behind Blooms of Bressingham Garden Centre has seen an amazing transformation.
In February, it was little more than a large greenhouse, but now the building is filled with tropical plants and 40 different species.
Luke Brown, farm manager, said: "From one advert for jobs we had more than 150 replies. The interest has been enormous because this really is a one in a million job."
