Ref. 25457-63A SWINDON woman is to honour her mother's dying wish by taking part in the Cycle for Life charity bike ride.
Teresa Tracey's mother Barbara died of lung cancer aged 55 in January last year.
Her dying wish was for her family to raise money for research into cancer.
As a result, Teresa, 27, and her partner Christopher Bevington, 20, agreed to take part in Cycle For Life, which raises money for Cancer Research UK.
Teresa, of Midhurst Avenue, Park North said: "The day we lost my mum we lost the most wonderful person in the world.
"When we found out she had cancer, we were all devastated, but we always tried to lift her spirits.
"But nothing could prepare us for when she eventually died."
Christopher also has a personal reason for doing the cycle ride his grandfather died of cancer in November 2001.
Cycle For Life is a 15 mile bike ride which takes place at Lydiard Country Park on July 27 at 10am. The entry fee is £7.50 for adults and £4.50 for children.
