CHERHILL Primary School's hardworking staff have earned a cash prize from the Government as a reward for their pupils' outstanding SATs results.
The school won a School Achievement Award, which was awarded by the Department for Education and Skills.
The school achieved 100 per cent last year in a core subject and more than 97per cent in other subjects.
Headteacher James York-Moore, said: "The results were exceptional and it is very pleasing that the staff's efforts have been recognised nationally."
