A HOLIDAY playscheme in Devizes, which offers children days out, has received national funding.
YoungValues, which runs activities for children aged four to 12, was awarded £15,000 for the next three years by the New Opportunities Fund.
It provides activities such as themed days, full and half day excursions, sport-based games, art and drama.
Operations director Alison Galloway said: "The school summer holidays can be a stressful time for parents when it comes to juggling work and home commitments with childcare.
"We are pleased to receive this vote of confidence from the New Opportunities Fund. It really has allowed us to offer the children a much greater variety of fun packed activities, playing to their individual interests."
The company is an Ofsted registered childcare provider and all staff are vetted through the Criminal Records Bureau.
The summer holiday playscheme runs from July 24 until September 3, excluding Bank Holiday Monday, from 8am to 6pm at Devizes Football Club. Call (01249) 465091 for details.
