WHO Wants To Be A Millionaire fraudster Charles Ingram is still waiting to hear if he has a future in the Army although he has admitted this is unlikely.
The major, who serves with the Royal Engineers at Upavon and lives at Easterton, will have to face a special hearing that will decide if he has a future in the Armed Forces.
Ingram has said that he believes his military career will be brought to a premature end by the hearing.
Yesterday, an Army spokesman said they were still waiting for a date to be set for the private hearing. He said: "We do now know when it will be or what the outcome will be."
Ingram was found guilty of cheating on the popular TV show after he won a million pounds in September 2001. The show was never broadcast because programme makers Celador suspected that Ingram had help in answering the questions.
Ingram and his wife Diana were fined £15,000 each and given 18- month suspended sentences. Ingram has also been accused of two counts of insurance fraud involving a total of £32,000. The trial is expected to be held in October.
