"A PINT and a bungee jump please." That was the order of the day at the Royal Oak in Marlborough on Saturday.
Customers queued at the popular High Street pub not only for drinks and food but also for the opportunity to jump from a 250ft high crane.
It was the second year the pub had organised a bungee jumping session to raise money for charity.
This year, proceeds will be going towards the Great Western Hospital's baby unit.
Joint licensee Val Seal said: "We will not know how much has been raised until all the sponsorship money comes in."
Her intrepid partner, Mal Johnson, was the first to make the dramatic dive at the end of an elasticised rope.
There were 32 other jumpers, with three pairs opting to jump in tandem from the crane above the pub garden.
Some more adventurous customers jumped at the opportunity of doing it more than once, including Gareth Blinston, a trainee deputy manager at the Castle and Ball Hotel.
Daredevil Gareth made the plunge three times, on one occasion wearing just a pair of shorts.
Ms Seal said: "We had a fantastic day and we know we have raised a lot of money for the hospital's baby unit."
