YOUNG people across Swindon are being urged to participate in the European Union's Leonardo da Vinci scheme, which funds a three-month work placement in a European country.
The scheme is open to applications from young people aged between 18 and 25 who are living in the borough.
It allows young people to work in various positions within industry and hotels.
Under the scheme all flights, accommodation and food are paid for.
Daryl Jones, the council's European and international officer, said: "An opportunity for young Swindon people to experience working for three months in another European country is something they dream about.
"All the youngster needs is a little enthusiasm, a little language ability and the confidence to work in a foreign environment," Mr Jones added.
The first placements are from September until December.
