PUPILS from two Swindon schools took part in a day of activities at the National Trust's Coleshill Estate.
Sixty children from rural South Marston CE Primary and urban Colebrook Junior participated in role-playing exercises called, Whose Land Is It Anyway? aimed at increasing environmental awareness.
The event marked the launch of a partnership sponsored by housing construction group Redrow which paired local schools with different backgrounds.
Sue Benjamin, deputy head of South Marston CE Primary, said: "It was a brilliant day."
Laura Hetherington, National Trust Head of Education and Interpre-tation, said: "This partnership is a vital part of the National Trust's young people, community and education programme.
"Students will learn about the Trust's work, the environment and conservation while forming positive links with a school from a contrasting background."
