A HISTORIC church in Lydiard Tregoze is featured in a Channel Four video which features places of worship in England.
St Mary's Church, located in the grounds of Lydiard Park, is included in a video
called The English Church.
The programme, available on video and DVD, is presented by historian Simon Jenkins.
He explores the tombs and effigies of local aristocrats as well as the history of the church's impressive stained glass windows. The windows were made by Flemish craftsmen in the 17th century.
The subjects depicted in the glass include St John the Baptist and St John the Evangelist.
The series, which was screened on television earlier this year, opens with a visit to Cornwall, where the church's early Saxon heritage is examined.
The English Church is available in the shops for £19.99.
