HARRY Potter alighted at Chippenham station's platform 9 3/4 last week before being whisked away in an open top limousine.
Lookalike Luke Williams played the role of J K Rowlings' most famous character to add a touch of magic to the opening of a new housing development in Devizes.
Harry's schedule saw him chauffeur-driven to Devizes in a 1968 Park Lane open top limousine.
On arriving he picked up a copy of the latest book by JK Rowling Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at Devizes Books.
From there he went on to cut the ribbon to officially open Wilson Connolly's Drews Pond development.
Staff and visitors posed for photos as Harry signed autographs for fans of the best selling series.
Wilson Connolly regional sales manager Daniel McGowan said: "We had two days of complete fun and entertainment to help launch our very latest Wiltshire development.
"With Harry attending, it was a magical weekend, complete with a barbecue and cream teas served to show home visitors."
