Ref. 27076-5BUTTERFLY queens, carnival princesses and a baby show were the order of the day at the Melksham Hospital fete, held at the weekend with over 500 people joining in the fun and games.
Bob Fogden, treasurer of the Friends of Melksham Community Hospital has already counted over £3,000 collected at the event.
He said: "The fete is marvellously supported by everybody from Melksham and the surrounding area. It was an extremely successful event but couldn't have happened without everyone's full support."
Overall winner of the baby show was 11-month-old Evie Fish.
Jodie Sprules and Kelsey Stuart were chosen as Melksham carnival princesses and Mary Barnes donned her wings as the Butterfly Queen.
The annual event is supported by local businesses and charities.
