A COUPLE who struggled with police trying to arrest a man seen urinating in Warminster town centre have both been fined by magistrates.
Mark Rennie, 31, of Harmans Lines Barracks, Warminster, and Corinne Henderson, 42, of The Mead, Warminster, who became angry at the way police were treating Rennie, both admitted being drunk and disorderly before Trowbridge magistrates on Thursday.
Rhys Davies, prosecuting, said Rennie was seen urinating. Police had to struggle to arrest him, while Henderson pushed officers and shouted abuse.
Rennie was fined £70 and ordered to pay £55 costs. Henderson was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £25 costs.
