Ref. 13738/3A WEEK of creative art and design at North Bradley School was rounded off with a visit from the circus.
Children enjoyed a two-day visit by members of the Shooting Stars Circus Skills Group, and spent their time learning to juggle, walk on stilts, ride novelty bicycles, and even walk the tightrope.
Headteacher Janette O'Brien said: "The children loved it and they learnt so much in such a short time.
"Circus skills are a really good way of developing the children's abilities doing things they wouldn't usually get to do, and it really builds their confidence."
The classes took it in turns to have workshops with the circus staff, and on Friday the older children gave a circus performance.
The school is holding an open day tomorrow, as part of North Bradley Village Day.
From 2pm the school will be open so visitors can take a tour around the buildings and see the displays covering the pupils' work.
