TWO women were left distressed following two separate incidents of indecent exposure in the town.

The first happened on Saturday at 9.30am as an 86-year-old woman was walking along a disused railway line in Old Town.

A man, aged between 40 and 45, emerged from bushes wearing a thong or a belt around his waist, exposing his buttocks.

The offender is described as white, 6ft 3ins tall, and of big build. He wore a mesh mask over his face.

In the second incident, a 21-year-old woman was walking through Lawn Woods at 1pm yesterday when two men appeared.

They put their T-shirts over their heads with their jeans round their ankles. The two offenders chased her through the woods into open space where she then telephoned the police.

Both men, who were clean-shaven and in their late 20s, headed back into the woods.
