RAIL passengers are set to face disruption to journeys from Swindon station over the coming month because of engineering work
On Saturday and Sunday the line between Swindon and Chippenham will be closed.
Services between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington will not be calling at Didcot Parkway, Swindon or Chippenham, with journey times extended by 30 minutes.
On the same days, the line between Swindon and Bristol Parkway will also be closed. Services will be diverted and will not call at Bristol Parkway. Journey times will be extended by up to an hour.
Passengers from Swindon will still be able to travel to London and replacement road transport services will be provided between Bath Spa and Chippenham to connect with Swindon's London service.
On August 2 and 9 services will be diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway with times extended by half an hour.
On the late evenings of Saturday July 26 and Sunday August 10, the line between Chippenham and Bristol Temple Meads will be closed.
Replacement transport services will be operating.
