POLICE are searching for a man who indecently exposed himself in a recreation area in Gorse Hill.
A 28-year-old woman was walking across an area known locally as the Venny, between Cricklade Road and Pinehurst Road, when the man, who was naked except for a balaclava, leapt out of some bushes.
The woman is said to have been shaken-up by the incident, which happened as she walked along a cycle path at 10.45am yesterday.
Police said a group of children were in the area when the incident happened. The man ran off in the Pinehurst direction.
Yesterday, the Advertiser reported two other incidents of indecent exposure in Swindon, which took place over the weekend.
The first was at 9.30am on Saturday on a disused stretch of railway line in Old Town. The second occurred in Lawn Woods at 1pm on Sunday.
Anyone with information should call Swindon police on 01793 528111.
