Ref. 25658-12AGE Concern in Purton has taken delivery of a new minibus after raising £29,000.
The new 14-seat Renault Master was handed over to Age Concern at a special ceremony at Purton's Red House Social Club.
The money was raised through Age Concern funds, and money from the local community and businesses.
The bus will join a second vehicle and will be used to transport passengers to and from medical centres, day centres and shops.
Tony Price, chairman of Age Concern in Purton, said: "We are extremely pleased with the new minibus.
"It's a valuable asset for helping older people in the community, and now that we have two vehicles we can provide the best service possible."
Earlier this year the Evening Advertiser reported on the efforts to raise funds for Purton Age Concern.
The Purton and Cricklade Young Farmers raised £100, which was shared between the Jubilees Garden Project and Purton Age Concern.
