SWINDON pulled out all the stops to smash top-of-the-table Winget by 53 runs and gain 20 priceless points.
Skipper Will Nichols won the toss and had no hesitation in opting to bat against the league leaders.
Openers Brett Sydney-Smith and Darren Beasant lapped up the Winget's bad deleveries with boundaries aplenty.
Winget were then hampered by the loss of star seamer Carter, who retired injured.
Swindon sensed a large total and they passed the half-century mark without any alarms. But eventually Sydney-Smith fell to leg-spinner Lewis and Beasant followed soon after hitting his own wicket off Lewis
That left Swindon on 63-2 but in came John Baden and Andy Compton, who raced the score to just shy of 200.
Compton went for 45, before Baden was run-out on 55.
A Staff (34), Nichols (29), Neil Patel (19) and R Willoughby (25) all contributed to give Swindon a fighting total of 279-8 from their allotted overs.
But Swindon knew all about Winget's strong batting line-up, and they amassed 40 from seven overs before Teg was trapped lbw by Willoughby.
Sterling was run out for 32 before Paul Stinchcombe took the wicket of Newton, caught by Nichols for 32.
With the score on 121, Baden took a fine catch at short fine leg off the impressive off-spinners of Sydney-Smith, to leave the visitors five wickets down and seemingly out of the game.
Harrington and Lambert added a quick-fire fifty to leave the visitors requiring just over nine runs per over off the last 15. Baden, who bowled an excellent spell, was replaced by left-arm spinner Adrian Brabazon and in his second over Lambert was run-out for 34.
Wildey was then run-out two balls later, after Brabazon deflected a drive onto the stumps and despite the tailenders taking the score to 221-6, Brababzon caught and bowled Harrington and trapped Teff lbw to wrap up their best win of the season.
Swindon face Goatacre next weekend.
