Opener Sean Toomey led the way for Wootton Bassett Under 13s as they halted Purton's climb in the North Wilts Junior League.
Playing at home, Toomey fell just three short of a half-century, Sean McNish weighing in with 23 and Aaron Stevens 20 as Bassett reached a total of 171.
Sam Walton (3-40), Marc Wood (2-31), and Aaron Lee (2-43) were the pick of the Purton bowlers.
In reply only Joseph Mills (36) and Wood (17) offered any resistance as Dean Williamson (3-14), Stuart Smedley (3-12), Tom Davies (2-15) and Alex Brown (2-25) bowled Purton out for 95 to give Bassett a 76-run winning margin and 19 points.
In the same age group, near neighbours Chippenham and Biddestone fought out a draw.
Solid batting from Jonathan Day (40), Zurain Qureshi (32) and James Bull (25) enabled Chippenham to reach 155-8 declared in 34 overs at Biddestone.
Joshua Barnes (3-22) and Andrew Lawton (2-42) were the main wicket-takers for Biddestone.
Lawton (26) and Martin Sawyer (18) gave the home side a promising start until a fine spell of bowling by captain Qureshi (3-14 in seven overs) put Chippenham on top.
However, Alex Leadbeater (12 not out) and Lawrence Roots (22 not out) held firm to take Biddestone to 121-6 and secure the draw.
Swindon enjoyed a decisive 130-run victory at Calne.
They declared on 181-9 in 32 overs with Jamie Baden (56) and Paul Laggett (24) top scoring and Tom Crosby (2-28), Allison (2-27) and Ben Kenway (2-31) sharing the wickets.
Laggett (3-8) and Elliott Read (3-8) then ran through the Calne order as they were dismissed for 51.
A weakened Malmesbury struggled to 32 all out against Westbury, Richard Mills (4-8) the pick of the bowlers.
Gareth Shellard and Christopher Lamb each took an early wicket for Malmesbury but Westbury reached their target in just 10 overs for just two down.
