WILTSHIRE cruised to a six-wicket victory over Oxfordshire in their latest Minor County Championship match played at Salisbury.
Set 136 to win they knocked off the runs for the loss of only four wickets with over 30 overs to spare.
Baqar Rizvi followed up his first innings 89 with 53, first innings centurion Steve Perrin made 26, while Richard Illingworth was 32 not out.
Trailing by 11 runs on the first innings Oxfordshire stood at 78-3 overnight going into the last day.
But they succumbed to the accurate bowling of Illingworth (29.1 overs 5-46) and Richard Bates 4-38 off 28 overs and were all out for 146 just before lunch.
Wiltshire with plenty of time to spare, easily reached 138-4 to gain a maximum 24 points and maintain their challenge in the Western section championship table.
