The grandmother of a girl who died from cancer completed a 10,000 ft parachute jump for charity.
Hazel Cherry, 59, whose three-year-old granddaughter Abby died last July, was one of eight daredevils, including Abby's mum Helen Smith, raising money for the Abby Smith Cancer Fund.
Hazel said she felt cool, calm and collected before taking the tandem plunge over South Cerney.
"I never felt frightened about it," she said. "I now feel that I can conquer the world and will never feel afraid again."
Hazel, of Downland Road, in Wood-hall Park, raised almost £1,000.
She said: "It was such a lovely feeling. I'd recommended it to anyone."
Helen, 34, a teacher at Haydonleigh School, said she was terrified before the skydive but was delighted she completed the challenge.
Abby became ill in December 2001 and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She died in July last year.
The fund is raising money for the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement and Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital, where Abby was treated.
