SUZANNE Stone has been appointed the new student resident manager at Salisbury College.
Suzanne has a background in management and was educated at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design.
She said: "I am very much looking forward to my new role.
"I have lived in student accommodation and I am impressed with the standard of the facilities offered by St Mary's House.
"I know that while communal living can be a fantastic experience, it can also be a little daunting.
"I will be on hand to offer advice and support to anyone who needs it."
She will be responsible for overseeing the running of the new accommodation centre at St Mary's House, located just behind the main college site and offering ensuite accommodation to students on full-time courses.
This will include meeting and greeting groups from language schools, ensuring the smooth running of the operation and providing local area information.
In October, she will a first point of contact for pastoral care, helping students to settle into their existing surroundings and encouraging residents to get involved in college life.
