CALNE-based White Horse Juniors held their third annual summer six-a-side competition last weekend and hailed it as 'the best yet'.
Around 800 players and nearly 100 teams from Wiltshire, Thamesdown and Bristol gathered at John Bentley School for two days of sun-drenched soccer.
And the host club celebrated with victory in the under 10 competition, beating local rivals Calne Town in the final.
Organiser Gary Haskins said the tournament had gone from strength to strength since it had been conceived and added that this year was no exception.
"We are a small club and this was a real success for us," he said.
"It was a fantastic weekend as far as the weather and football was concerned.
"I think all the players, supporters and volunteers had a really good time.
"It was really good to have so many teams in the age groups."
White Horse Juniors are still in need of new players in all age groups for the coming season.
