VILLAGERS at West Lavington were enthralled by the performance last week of Lavington Amateur Dramatic Society's youth section in their annual summer show.
The Blue Crystal, a science fiction musical by Nick Perrin, was performed in the garden of its producer, Lavender Davy, at Sunnyside.
It told the story of how the Zarcons from another planet steal the Blue Crystal, which is necessary for life on Earth.
The cast included Saskia Charity, Kate Pearce, Johanna Harwood, Kester Clark, Emma Langton, Sarah Wiltshire, Alec Davy, Jenny Davy, Alice Matthews, Aubrey Clark, Lee Thorp, Danny Charity, Lizzie Lomax, Deanna Thorp and Edith Waterman.
After the show, patrons were able to enjoy a barbecue and a dip in Mr and Mrs Davy's swimming pool.
