Age Concern Swindon's golden anniversary celebrations may have ended a month ago, but they are still the hot topic of conversation.
The charity's Swindon branch met with more than 80 supporters from various organisations for its 51st annual meeting.
Director Jo Osorio said he was pleased to see so many people at the meeting at the Upper Room, in Regent Street.
"It was an exceptionally successful meeting," he said. "The success of our golden anniversary year was talked about and praised. Special tribute was paid to two of our former chairs, Mike Brougham and Daphne Bampton, who sadly died in the last month."
James Carine, the charity's chairman, said: "Our staff and volunteers have continued their invaluable work with people in our community who look to us for advice, information and practical help."
