Motorola splashed out and spared no expense to stage its recent Family Fun Day, held to celebrate the company's 75th anniversary.
More than 2,000 staff and their families took part in a host of activities ranging from a touring version of the TV show It's a Knockout, hosted by Keith Chegwin, to face painting, dodgems, gladiator jousting and quad biking.
A prize raffle was drawn on the day with the proceeds, which totalled £7,500, donated to Macmillan Cancer Relief by Adrian Nemcek, executive vice-president of Motorola.
According to Patrick Hamilton, communications manager for the company: "Motaday was a great success and an excellent way for our staff and their families to celebrate our 75th anniversary.
"It's A Knockout was a big hit, and a fantastic time was had by all."
