SWINDON CANCER APPEAL: The Evening Advertiser is offering two reduced price tickets for this year's Air Tattoo to raise money for the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
The tickets, which are usually £27.95 in advance, are being sold at the discounted priced of £20 to raise funds for the Evening Advertiser appeal for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Christine Astley from Normanton in West Yorkshire donated the tickets. Because of the late date she received them, she was unable to make any arrangements to get to the show.
She said: "I am delighted the tickets are being sold to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief. My first husband died from cancer of the aorta and we only had a couple of weeks notice. They do a fantastic job and I am pleased the money raised will go towards the good work they do."
The two tickets will be given to the first reader who asks at the reception of the Evening Advertiser in 100 Victoria Road, Swindon.
