Ref. 25741-10THE leaflet bearing Liam's name and photograph, which was distributed to families throughout Penhill, was headed: "Keeping Crime off the Streets of Swindon."
It gave Liam's age and home street, as well as detailing the terms of the order and saying he faced arrest if he breached them. It said: "You can report any breach to Swindon Police Station or Swindon Housing Services and Crime and Disorder Team."
The leaflet added in capitals: "LIAM WALSH IS NOW PAYING THE PRICE OF HIS OWN ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR."
At yesterday's hearing, Liam's solicitor, Rob Ross, said this was too draconian, but borough solicitor Francis Maples said such leaflets were in accordance with the philosophy behind ASBOs empowering communities to deal with anti-social behaviour in their midst.
