FOR those who doubt the existence of passive smoking, may I point to the case of the great American jazz and swing saxophonist who died this week. He learned the saxophone at an early age and by the time he was 15 was playing in the smoky clubs of Harlem until later touring the world playing his music in nightclubs.
Sucking in other peoples cigarette smoke all those years eventually took their toll. His name was Benny Carter, his age 95.
