Ref. 25698-41MONTHS of fundraising has paid off for handbell ringers in Minety, who now have a complete set of bells.
Members of the St Leonard's Minety Church Handbell Ringers raised around £3,000 to buy the extra nine bells they needed to complete their set.
The bellringers now have 28 bells, which cover two octaves, and have two carrying cases.
Barbara Sheppard, of Derry Park, Minety, who runs the group, said: "It took a lot of effort to raise the money, but it was worth it to achieve a complete set."
The group raised the money by holding table-top sales. The bellringers perform locally, playing a range of music, including Beatles' songs, such as Yellow Submarine and Let it Be.
The bells were made at a foundry in Whitechapel in London.
