UTTERLY Butterlys wing-walker, Marie Duguid, will celebrate the 100th year of aviation as she reaches for the skies at the Swindon Show onAugust 2 and 3.

Marie, 25, will roar into Lydiard Park waving from the top wing of her Utterly Butterly biplane and complete a display of formation aerobatics.

Daring wing-walker Marie will be on the wings of a 1940s open cockpit biplane. "Wing-walking with the Utterly Butterlys is the best job in the world," says Marie, who grew up in Purton and went to Bradon Forest School.

Battling against 100mph wind pressure, Marie and fellow wing-walker Kirsty will perform handstands.

The show also welcomes the ex- leader of the RAF display team the Red Arrows, as a new pilot with the Utterly Butterlys. Wing Commander Andrew Offer: "It's like swapping from a Formula One car to a classic Rolls Royce.

"But it is a great opportunity and I am utterly thrilled."
