BARBURY Castle is part of our National Heritage and therefore for all to enjoy.
I for one would like to thank the Simsons for all their hard work over the years in keeping the area tidy, while farming and running the cafe that has provided much needed refreshment for tourists and their animals.
Who I wonder is going to run it now? And who on the Swindon council decided that we no longer needed the Simsons? Is there more to this than meets the eye? The Simsons should be left alone to carry on running Barbury for as long as they are able.
Let's hope someone on the Swindon council will see the error of their ways, before it is too late and we see more buildings being built and trees cut down.
What on earth were the council thinking of?
