CHIPPENHAM clinched the Portman Building Society Under 15 County Cup with victory over their Swindon counterparts in their final at Hardenhuish Park.
Having defeated Westbury, Wootton Bassett and Marshfield in earlier rounds, Chippenham proved too strong in the final.
Swindon batted first and raced to 47 in the seventh over with Dominic O'Neill (31) and Mark Williamson (16) scoring well.
However, the introduction of the spinners saw a complete transformation in the game as Swindon subsided to 71 all out.
Liam Dawson collected 4-4, Will Couzens 2-13 and Tom Bowler 2-15, while stand-in keeper Luke Holborough provided five stumpings.
Chippenham raced to victory inside 13 overs with Adam Croutear scoring 32, ably supported by Tim Rowson (16 not out) and Tom Bowler (13 not out).
Chippenham will now meet the winners of the Somerset final, Bath, in a play- off to see who attends the regional finals.
