TRAFFIC and parking problems will be on the agenda tonight (Wednesday) at a Highworth Town Council meeting.
The Planning Sub-committee was due to meet at the Council Offices in the High Street, at 7pm, where various congestion issues will be raised. Problems including resident only parking in Vicarage Lane, road safety issues in Eastrop and 30mph signs in Cricklade Road are due to be discussed.
Other issues, such as the double yellow lines opposite the bus stop near The Jesmond, traffic in Brewery Street and the Fox roundabout will also come under scrutiny.
Residents are also concerned about the volume of lorries using Shrivenham Road.
Members of Swindon council's traffic department will be present for the discussion.
The minutes of the Planning Sub-Committee's previous meeting, on July 8, will be received.
