The Rev David Slater, minister of the Station Hill Baptist Church, has challenged North Wiltshire District Council to think again about the use of the Goldiggers building.
He addressed a recent meeting of the executive committee and asked members to consider the recent district council elections and the events surrounding the proposed sale of the building.
Coun Ruth Coleman told him the council was happy to accept bids.
