PUPILS at Potterne Primary School near Devizes helped a local company celebrate the production of its billionth aerosol can last week by taking part in a special competition.
Children at the school were asked to design their own cans and the winners were presented with their designs duly printed on aerosols and mounted on a Perspex plinth.
Cebal UK Ltd have been based at Folly Road in Devizes since 1985 and produce aerosol cans for well-known names like Lynx, Nivea, Adidas, Impulse and WD-40.
Plant director Jos Filipe said: "In June this year we celebrated achieving our one billionth can. Due to our close links with Potterne School, we asked them to celebrate this with us and the children responded very well by producing drawings about the subject."
The winning designs were created by Amy Spencer, 11, and Edward Sawyer and Kyle Maslen, both aged eight.
