A NEW theatre group aimed at getting children onto the stage is opening in Westbury for the summer holidays.
Kris Kros Productions are holding auditions for parts in a comedy play and will be running youth workshops in August.
Organisers will be looking for local stars at The Laverton in Westbury from 7pm on Tuesday.
Chris Anderson, director, said: "We are looking for anyone aged 16-60 to come and audition, even if you have never acted before, come along, you might just enjoy it.
"We are also looking for backstage crew and anyone who can paint, stage light or do sound."
The theatre group are also running daily summer workshops starting on August 4.
Children between 8 and 18 can join and the four-week course which culminates in a two-night show at the end of the month.
Mr Anderson said: "This is going to be a fun four weeks where every participant will have the chance to perform and learn invaluable skills.
"This theatre group is specifically geared towards encouraging young talent in its many forms."
The summer workshops costs £50 a week plus a £10 deposit.
