A HEALTHY housing market in north and west Wiltshire is welcoming back buyers and sellers, say local estate agents.
A survey by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors revealed house prices fell again in the south west in June.
Estate agents throughout the region believe prices have stabilised and more people are flocking back to the market.
Melvin Davis, at Davis and Latcham in Warminster, said: "We have a huge amount of Inquiries every day and there are plenty of prospective buyers just not many people selling.
"It seems to be very quiet in Bath and Salisbury so towns like Warminster are getting busier and busier."
The survey by RICS revealed house prices in England and Wales fell in June for the fifth month running.
Kirsten Allnutt, from Bradford and Bingley, Chippenham,
said: "What we are seeing is not a fall in house prices, instead it looks like they are stabilising and prices are becoming more
realistic. But the market is still not as good as this time last year."
DK residential opened three weeks ago but the owners have been estate agents for 30 years combined.
Partner Kenneth Williams said: "Business is very good and there is a lot of interest around."
