DAIRY farmer Gordon Guley has appeared in court to face four more charges of sexually assaulting young boys.
Guley, 43, went before magistrates in Trowbridge on Thursday to face an extra four charges of indecent assault. They are three on a 14-year-old boy and one on a 12-year-old boy, which all date back to the mid 1970s.
The married farmer already faces a total of nine indecent assault charges against five other boys between 1975 and 1997.
Guley, of Whaddon Farm, Whaddon Lane, Hilperton did not enter any pleas during the hearing.
The case was adjourned until September 10 when all the sex assault allegations will be transferred to Swindon Crown Court.
Guley and his brother Trevor own three farms in and around Melksham, including one at Roundponds and another at Berryfield.
Guley was released on bail with conditions banning him from approaching or talking to children under 16 unless he has permission from their parents or guardians.
The farmer also has to live and sleep every night at his home address in the village of Hilper-ton.
Det Sgt Dave Martin, of Trowbridge CID, is appealing for anyone with information helpful to the police inquiry on Gordon Guley to contact him on (01225) 763101.
