Two Swindon students each stand to win £1,000 in a competition to find the town's best young person.
The Reckitt Benckiser Young Citizens Award is open to 16 to 18-year-old students from New College, Swindon College, and the two schools with sixth forms, Ridgeway and St Joseph's.
Reckitt Benckiser, the Swindon-based household product manufacturer, is funding the award.
Keith Holdsworth, the company's supply director, said: "This award has been created to give young citizens of Swindon the incentive to demonstrate best endeavour within the school environment in terms of personal best and to celebrate social and community achievements.
"We hope that this award, and the financial support it offers the winners, will have a positive direct impact on their future achievements."
Entrants should complete a form to demonstrate how they achieved their personal best at school, while also striving to be a good citizen, both in and out of the school or college environment.
Nomination forms must be completed by a teacher, community leader, charity worker or anyone who has been directly affected by the positive actions of the nominee.
