SWINDON & District Bowling Association were beaten in their latest friendly match on the south coast.
Mike Large's representative team went down by 19 shots at Richmond Park when losing 128-109 to Bournemouth & District BA.
They took the honours on three of the six rinks with senior vice-president Ken Downton's quartet recording the biggest winning margin of 11 shots.
There were also wins for the rinks skipped by Fred Rogers (five) and Dave Woodbridge (nine).
S&D's next game is this coming Sunday, August 3, when they entertain Oxfordshire VPs at Swindon Bowls Club.

Rink 3: Jim Tucker, Mike Wells, Mike Large (all Cricklade), John Emmerson (Highworth) lost 16-23. Rink 4: Norman Nicholls (Wanborough), Alan Anderson (Crick), Tony Bluett (HWick), Ken Downton (Shrivenham) won 22-11. Rink 5: Fred Peart (Shriv), Paul Stokes, Brian Stallard, Dave warren (all Highworth) lost 17-33. Rink 6: Bob Mertha, Vince Garrett, Dave Fowler, John Durham (all Faringdon) lost 12-33.
SHRIVENHAM, the Berkshire winners in the English Women's Bowling Association Top Team competition, will play Milton Regis, Kent, in the next round.
The match will take place this coming Saturday, August 2 on the neutral green at Guildford BC.
Westlecot, the Wiltshire winners, in what was the old Travelsphere competition, face Cornish winners, Newquay Ladies, on Saturday August 16 at Tiverton West End.
WILTS Vice Presidents recorded a 140-97 victory over Chippenham Park, on their own green.
VPs won on four of the rinks with Jim Hunter's quartet recording a massive 31 shot win.
Wilts VPs entertain Dorset Patrons this coming Sunday, August 3 at Devizes.
