Swindon were left to curse their luck after the rain intervened in their fixture against Bredon on Saturday and prevented them from recording their fourth victory in the last five weeks.
Swindon posted a competitive 238 on a damp wicket, but with the conditions becoming increasingly wet, and a constant drizzle falling during and after the tea interval, play never resumed and the game was abandoned.
Swindon's batsman worked hard to post a big total in testing conditions with the stars again being the prolific John Baden, who posted another magnificent hundred, and skipper Will Nichols (73 in 65 balls) who dispatched the bowling to all parts.
