THE Devizes-based Selectabook side followed up their win over Pewsey Vale with an impressive display against Jewson Wessex League Bemerton on Monday night.
Manager Dave Hopkins played a strong line-up for the friendly and was pleased to see his team secure a win with goals in each half.
Promising striker Justin Lisle opened the scoring at Nursteed Road with a fine left-foot strike from 20 yards, and local youngster Steve Bush, who is on trial with the club, added the second firing into the top corner from 15 yards.
Hopkins said: "I was very pleased with how the game went. I played it like a first team fixture and didn't move too many players around.
"We passed the ball very well and kept a clean sheet which was particularly pleasing because it was something we had worked on in training."
Selectabook take on Swindon Supermarine tonight and Hopkins is looking forward to the clash with the Dr Martens Western Division side.
