THE message that drugs kill, or at the very least mess up lives, will be much more graphically depicted thanks to the efforts of pupils at Lavington School.
Kennet Action for Single Homeless has been working closely with pupils for the last two years and has organised a competition to design a poster.
Louise Sheppard, of KASH, said: "We have been doing five-week courses with the year 7 groups at the school, all connected with homelessness.
She said: "The courses are in the form of workshops. We use replica drugs cases and ask them to take on the roles of the people involved. The concept of homelessness comes as a shock to them.
"We show them how people come to be without a home."
