A HOMELESS man who refused to take a breath test after being suspected of drink driving has been jailed for six months.
Patrick Reed was spotted behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Cavalier outside the Abbey Meads pub.
And when he was asked by police if he had been drinking he told them: "I have taken everything including crack and heroin everything".
Reed, of no fixed abode, was put on probation for the matter but he breached the conditions of the order.
Reed admitted breaching the order and two charges of theft. He was given a four-month jail sentence for the first offence and one month each for the thefts.
Swindon magistrates were told that the 33-year-old, who has a drink problem, was also put on another probation order for two counts of shoplifting.
