A LEADING anti-war MP will address a meeting in Swindon in October.
George Galloway, the Labour MP for Glasgow Kelvin, was one of the most outspoken critics of the war on Iraq.
He has been invited by the Swindon Stop the War Coalition and will be speaking at the Pilgrim Centre in Regent Street from 7.30pm on October 30.
Mr Galloway will talk about his suspension from the Labour Party for describing Tony Blair and George Bush as "wolves falling on prey" in Iraq to an Arab radio station.
The final hearing to decide whether he will be expelled from the Labour Party will be on October 22, and Mr Galloway's meeting in Swindon will be one of his first public appearances after the hearing.
Secretary of the Swindon Stop the War coalition Andy Newman said: "Across Swindon there are thousands of people who are angry that the government took us to war based upon lies."
