PENHILL: An elderly woman was assaulted in daylight as she walked though an area of parkland between Penhill and Whitworth Road.
The attack took place at 8.30am on Tuesday as the woman was walking through what is known locally as the Flower Garden. She was approached from behind by a man who then grabbed her.
She did not suffer any injuries in the attack but was in a state of shock. Anyone with information about the attack should call Swindon police on 01793 528111.
